Speed Reading Is a Part of Inspectional Reading

Speed reading is all about being able to read really fast through any specific passage. But it does not account for comprehension. It's good for certain parts of a book, but you should not be speed reading everything. Speed reading helps resolve two important issues when it comes to reading fast enough: regression and sub vocalization. The third level of reading is what's called analytical reading where you're analyzing a piece of text. You're going deep into the topic - squeezing the juice out of that topic.
