New York City Is Dealing With the Most Visible Mentally Ill People

The mayor has to deal with optics. But I do think that what it ignores is the mammoth task that's like ahead for actually dealing with the mentally ill. You can have all of the homeless people in New York assessed. Where are those beds? Do they then? Is it more like a conglomerate shelter? There's not the supportive housing yet. Even though they did add 2000 units, and there was supposed to be 2000 more units coming up according to de Blasio's temporary deputy of mental health.
