Rugby is a brutal sport, but it's also has a finite time period in which people can play most sports. You're either good enough or you're not; I think a lot of guys do just sort of prefer not to think about it. And the other thing is you are super tired. So although you've got a lot of sort of free time, quite a lot of it, you are exhausted and you're just sort of waiting for the next opportunities get flogged by someone.
