The History of Laser Disk

On October 3rd 2000 the last title for laser disc was released and it was bringing out the dead starring Nicholas Cage, Patricia Arquette and John Goodman. When you consider the cost and that average consumers don't necessarily care that much about picture and sound quality it really was a niche product. But there's no telling how long your favorite movies or TV shows will stay on each specific platform. We've cut the cord to go the streaming route but now with so many streaming options it's like cable all over again.
