Yet when you look at the pub per your book, one of the top blurbs is from Jeff Bezos himself. What did you decide to do and how did you work with Jeff Bezos and Amazon in order to thrive? Ryan: We decided that our prices were going to be the same. And number two, that blue shirts would have the power, the authority, to match online prices. No question asked.

- "It sends a powerful message when the CEO has a coach." It shows that he understands he needs help. We all do.
- Must-Have leadership qualities:
- Knowing people... Who are they? What drives them? How do they want to be remembered?

- Accept imperfections of self and others
- How to turn around a business by putting people first and reducing headcount as a last resort.
