Mo Tucker played with mallets instead of drumsticks she joined the underground in 1965 after Angus McLeese walked out. Reed seems to have been so proud that he was writing about something taboo that he forgot to set his words to memorable music. The lyrics Venus and Furs is about bondage and domination kinky sex stuff that's still mostly taboo today.
