Mesoamerica - A Big Place
Mesoamerica stretches almost 2,000 miles from central Mexico to the Ismos of Panama. It's one of the few places on the face of the earth to independently develop agriculture and complex societies. The oldest human remains found in the caves of the Yucatan Peninsula are dated to 13,600 years ago before radiocarbon dates were a clovisite.
