The Governor's 30 Day Pledge to Drink Filtered Tap Water
Flint residents did not want to pay for water despite assurances from government agencies that had been lying to them for two years. Governor Snyder publicly encouraged Flint residents to start using the tap water with a filter so that the pipes could be repaired. Mayor Weaver: "We've been dealing with this for two years and we were drinking it when it wasn't filtered"
