The Basic Principle of Reading for Children
The underlying principle of writing arises from the feeling life of the soul. Reading is essentially mental, and if it is taught before writing, children prematurely develop only the head instead of the forces of their whole being. Methods such as these can guide education into an area that embraces the whole human being, the realm of art.
