If Heracles is anything, it's a slut. He slept with everyone and their mother because he was the hero for all of Greece. In order to be on the ancient Greek map, so to speak, you had to have some kind of tie to Heracles. And often the easiest way to do that was through him having sex with someone from your town or your region.
