"I would wake up at like 1.30 in the afternoon and take a piss," he says of his early days in New York. "Every theater was playing in Times Square. I didn't have to look in the paper, anything I wanted to see was on Eighth Avenue." He recalls meeting an exotic woman who looked more like Vogue's cover than Barbies when they were working as bartenders together for Buddy of Mine.
