When i was younger, before i kind of had a speaking career, i spent a lot of time going to talks and drawing them. I don't like watching other speakers as much as i love watching stand up comedians. So again, i look to it for things more like structure and technique than how to be funny on stage. But when it came to that ted talk, i'm trying to remember, i think that ted talk is kind of just a version of the talk i was giving at the time. And so i think, in a sense, that was me studying other speakers and writers and people who were coming up.
