The Importance of Semantics and Modeling in Data Engineering

Will semantics and modeling be the biggest barrier to value? Absolutely. Can data modeling happen iteratively and sprints? It can and it needs to. We've really kind of lost our way around having a coherent model around data. And we aren't ready for AI. There's a huge fundamental opportunity to get the foundation right.
