The Different Types of Military Bases

The largest military base on US soil is Fort Bragg, which has a population of just under 240,000 people. Many bases are built so that people who live there either as support staff or military officers or family members never have to leave the base. They can be home to surveillance hubs and detainment centers where in US law does not apply as much as it would to citizens. Despite being called non-permanent, this stuff can become a quagmire.
