The Triun Character of God
The people are recalling both god and themselves as a people, to the relationship that they share. They may be the descendants of abraham, but abraham does not know them. To any one looking, it might seem that they have been completely disowned by him. A question to consider where else in the old testament might we find hints of the triun character of god? Luke, chapter 19, verses 29, forty eight.
