Modernism Is the Biggest Component of Modern Architecture
It's that era of the sort of neuroses under American confidence. A lot of his buildings are quite junk space. Although if you look at the rhetoric of them like them I say modernism is still the biggest component. If you think of something like the Seattle Public Library it's all about this demonstrative collage of programmatic functions. Then gets amalgamated and then cut up again and then moved around. He also talks about the way in which architects like whatever intentions they start out with they end up creating more junk space. Something we can all sympathise with.
