The Impact of Women's Work on the Economy
When a woman works, it has a huge number of knock on effects around her. She suddenly gets a certain enhanced status because she's bringing in money. The daughters of an employed mom are more likely to be employed themselves. Despite this virtuous cycle, women's participation in the labor force is going down. We don't know where the slide will end and when we'll bounce back. There is no way of telling when that will happen.
