"There's room for doubt though. Isn't that the punchline here as whoa, that would have been reasonable doubt if we had that information in 1910 at his trial," he says. "People didn't lock their doors traditionally in 1910 and anybody could have gotten in there." Crippen was on trial for killing his wife when a body was found in his cellar. The how is not as important because how it's preserved is not going to change a female DNA profile to a male DNA profile.
