A Thousand Ships by Nataly Haines
Clytemnestra is a complex and morally righteous character, even when she kills her husband. She has perfectly good reasons for murder within the moral code of the time in which she livs. But it's worth bearing in mind that there are versions of clytenestra where she's much less transgressive. It takes justice or retribution out of the household, where women can have some power, and into society. In fifth century athens means they have no power at all.
