Are We Getting What We Deserve?
There are twice as many people who care deeply about climate and the environment who aren't voting as those who are voting. Politicians like to win elections, so they're going to appeal to people who actually cast ballots, not the ones who don't vote. When you've only got three or four or 5% of voters listing an issue as their top priority, boy, is it hard to justify spending your political capital on that.
