I don't think we know the answer to that yet. How do we know whether an athlete is simply just in a, like you said, intermittent fast or short-term energy deficit? And then what's the difference between that and then someone who's in low energy availability? It's something that will have to be used in conjunction with other tools to tell us about about those differences. I don't think these tools could ever be used as a one-off tool with nothing else.
