The Early Church Fathers Help Us Interpret Scripture
The church rarely holds a council to defi define things that aren't in dispute. When you hear the church defining things loudly, it's precisely because there is all of a sudden heresies that have risen concerning these things. And so what i would say is, like, i would rather take their interpretation than i would some one from to day, or 400 years ago, or 600 years ago. If we found a time machine and went back to jerusalem to like, the hundreds, two hundreds, three hundreds, i would feel more at home than he would. Yer rit, i just ego, go you.
