Can Antibiotics Reset the Microbiome in Children Mice?
One of the experiments that you did when you gave the mice antibiotics, would have did relieve the vaccine suppressive effects of EED. One would then argue, well, can you give antibiotics to children prior to giving erodivirus vaccine to have an immune response? But then, of course, the consequence is increasing intestinal inflammation that would lead to further stunting. These antibiotics temporarily reset the microbiome then by reestablishing the diet and getting away from the scenario where you're getting chronic infection with these inflammatory E. coli. That might be a successful way to deal with the disease.
