I feel like a big hurdle for many people is the safety issue again especially for younger children so some examples here that would be fun to just get your input on what if you're walking along the road with your toddler and he or she does not want to hold your hand. Then because he wants to explore the other side of the road he runs in front of a bus don't you have to utilize coercion in a case like that to hoist him away or he will die? I must admit when my first child was two years old we lived in London at the time with extremely busy roads and very fast traffic and I remember being very worried about her not wanting to hold my hand as we walked
