Your Great Great Grandfather Came to San Francisco in 1867
The railroad company needed people who could treat Chinese. So my great great grandfather and two of his sons Came to work on the railroad. It probably was a very different California in 1867 than it was in 1848 Do you characterize what might have changed for these immigrants? You know San Francisco from its earliest days had a reputation of being quite cosmopolitan.
