Air Travel and Climate Change

Air travel contributes two point five % of carbon emissions, although that's expected to double by 20 50. Global air travel is increased by 300 times since 19 50. Yet it's estimated 80% of the wold's population have never flown at all. I could offset my flight by contributing to sustainable development projects or planting new trees, but this feels like shutting the stable door after the horse as bolted. It's clear we all have to make a change, rather than hope some one else will make up for our shortcomings if we're to avoid the worst of futures.
