How to Say Goodby to Someone

I'm not trying to control Fred but I am informing him if you want me to stay at this table then we need to avoid those conversations. Some goodbyes are just for a season temporary separation and other goodbyes may be for much longer. When someone doesn't respect our boundaries how do we know when it's time to say goodbye? We need to take steps not leaps, remember that third word besides access and responsibility the third word is consequence.
