Skeletal muscle is one of the highest candidates to be able to up a fermentation given their a t p demand, yes. But they have a sensitium of midochondria inside the muscles, and they have adapted. This is their part of the normal physiology. They can ferment for periods of time under extreme stress conditions but cannot permanently do that. The cells will die if you try to force them into a long term fermentation metabolism. If you can't do that, you're ging to die. It's not something, you don't go from a normal cell to a cancer cell overnight in a colon. There are some situations where cancer can happen much quicker than people would normally think
