Movie Review - Gladiator
This is like another version of gladiator, and i say that as a full compliment. It also up dates the way that they made movies for the better in a lot of ways. There are definitely inaccuracies in this film. But there's an excellent piece in the new yorker by julian lucas who wrote about and clearly has a deeper understanding of the history of africa and the transatlantic slave trade. And it does become very message bound in its final 15 minutes.
