Sue's Husband Is Under Suspicion by the Police

Paul knew he was under suspicion and he took a polygraph to prove that he had nothing to do with it. He did act in strange ways that made the family members think maybe he did do it because he said, I bought that bottle or they're going to find out that I have some of those pills in my car. Things that made it seem like, well, what is he covering up? But he really wasn't. The police are more suspicious of Sue or Paul or random stranger who's targeting anybody who buys, et cetera. They focus mostly on Stella after they exonerate Paul through that polygraph.
