One of West Streetings amazing ideas to fix the NHS is to abolish GP partners and make all of us salaried. "I think it's ridiculous on many levels, but one thing that is underestimated by everyone, the NHS especially, is the goodwill of all of the staff," he says. GPs are private businesses who contract their services back to the NHS. They have skin in the game because they do a lot of work that nobody sees really.
