The Importance of Being Present
The opening chapter of your book is, or the introduction rather is in the long run, we're all dead. It's a very like well-worded, gentle, informative way of reminding people you're going to die. And it isn't that if you face up to all that, your life will become completely serene and wonderful. I mean, it might be at an extreme, I certainly haven't got there, but just that it's ultimately more meaningful and authentic to live in the kind of anxiety that comes from knowing your time is finite than trying to convince yourself that your time isn't.
