Is Propofol a Good Induction Agent?
Propofol is the most prominent. Sodium thipental was an agent to treat status epilepticus and used to be an agent that would be routinely run intravenously for electrical silence of the brain. Methohexitol, I think I still make it, and actually some of the civilian facilities around us in Missouri used it as an induction agent when the profile shorted around 2010. It's commonly mistaken for ECT but we used it for isoelectric activity up in the research ICU.
