Steve Jobs and the Next Big Thing
Steve Jobs leaves Apple in 1985. Next is bought back by Apple in 1996. Sun was, in time, I'd love to get your take on this,. But definitely Stross's take is that Sun was winning that market without having to try very hard. That it was just kind of a consequence of winning the workstation market. And so the architecture was called campus. The Spark Station 1 was Sun 4C, right? Adam? Right. Do you know what the C stands for? No, no idea.
