The Gospel of Paul

Paul: Jesus himself is our peace. He made the two groups one. In other words, he takes all the different tribes of humanity and here the two groups, Jew and non-Jew,. And he reduces it all down to one to one thing. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two...and reconcile both of them to God through the cross by which he put to death their hostility.
