The Time of Testing
The coming of Christ in judgment will be like a lightning bolt, he says. The church did escape and it was saved from suffering the full devastating force of the destruction of Jerusalem. Some have suggested that this might be a reference to the corpse of the rebellion of Israel and the eagles of Rome praying upon the corpse of Israel.
