Suhravardi's Philosophy of Forms
Suhravardi's philosophy draws more from Avasenna than any of the other sages he prides himself in following. He returns to a doctrine that had been universally rejected by the followers of Aristotelianism. Suhravardi adds is mostly a set of responses to peripatetic arguments against the existence of such forms. His ideas were embraced by thinkers who sought to attach themselves to a rival tradition.
