The way that all of that stuff gets recycled as a strategy, a structural strategy to keep people marginalized. If you produce a moral panic around a particular marginalized group and you get enough momentum around it, you can use it to validate the power of the state. And again, this is just, you know, this is my bailiwick, but like, in the wake of uprisings and revolutionary moments, you see these intense focuses on particular groups that are susceptible to this kind of moral panic for whatever reason. It's really exhausting.
