How I Got Started as a Church Comic
I think some people, if there's something that people know about you, it might be that you started as a church comic. I don't think a lot of people even knew existed. My dad wanted to take a stand-up comedy class when he was a junior in high school. But it was taught by a Christian comedian. His name's Nazareth. Can I make that up? Real guy. And he taught this stand-up class at a church like 30 minutes from where we lived. It was like me and like five other middle-aged people.
