The Importance of Theatre in Christie's Life
There is a bit of a through line in your book as to your annoyance with Laura Thompson's biography. It minimizes or fudges Christie's theatrical achievements that would have been the most recent biography when you were writing. I'm no expert on Agatha Griss' life on Agathagriss' novels I deal only with her work as a playwright and how that sits in the context of her work as an author. So there's a real world for both of them exactly I would say exactly that, and other biographies like Janet Morgan's are fantastic.
