Mill's Utilitarianism in the Bentham Period
In the Bentham period, Marx and the utilitarian are very separated from each other. Mill late in his life tries quite hard to keep utilitarianism dynamic. And he also foretells the rising cooperative thinking by describing how perhaps enterprises someday will be run by the workers. So there is even a bit of syndicalism in Mill's liberal thought.
