Empathic Listening - Understanding and Perception

A discerning ampathic listener can read what is happening down deep fast. People want to be understood, and whatever investment of time it takes will bring much greater returns in the long run. As you learn to listen deeply to other people, you will discover tremendous differences in perception. You may approach problems from a highly visual, intuitive, polistic, right brain paradime. I may be very left brain, ver sequential, analytical and verbal in my approach. And yet we both have lived with our paradimes for years, thinking they are facts. How do we transcend the limits of our individual perceptions so that we can deeply communicate? The answer is habit five.
