The History of the Morning Glory
The catastrophic Australian bushfires that engulfed the traditional country of Aboriginal people burned for months early last year. These horrific fires might have been mitigated or at least would have been a valester ferocity if Australian authorities had acknowledged and been prepared to use Aboriginal land and fire management practices which were commonplace before colonization. Every September in the Gulf of Caponteria across the homelands of the Gunga leader, the northern neighbours of the Wanyi, a natural phenomenon of great significance occurs. The morning glory cloud travels at the speed of 60 kilometres per hour and rolls across the skies early in the morning usually when there is due.
