Six Best Practices for Decentralized Governance
The idea that any new system of governance should transcend and include the previous form of governance can mean different things in different contexts. By modularizing a system and giving each organ its own specific form of governance, then you sort of limit the scope of one entity being in charge of the whole on around it. It would actually design organisms that are more like organs, which to say they're well-defined, well-bounded, and their governance doesn't have in its intrinsic a want, need or desire to expand.
