Disney World opened a water park in 1976. It was inspired by the Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn story. In 1980, an 11 year old boy died because he contracted this brain eating amoeba. There were two more deaths in the park in the 80s. And over the decades, Disney World just exploded into something huge.
