The Eryali and the Long Trail

The eryali are described as having like actual metallic gold hair rather than just blonde. The bloodline gets down to Tress, the hair is just always remarked as very striking and like true golden for actual eryali people. And so I think this is potentially a case where characters in world are saying something incorrect because they don't know.
