Is the Study of Physics a Challenge to Faith?

physics is a mathematical description of the laws of nature we see in the universe. A proficiency in mathematics, or understanding of mathematics, is key to understanding this language. Now, does the study of physics at a top western university present any challenges? To faith as a moslem do you think in your experience?
