Unfair Bargaining, Maybe?
When you have multiple recognized social s, and so genders would count a races that are salient in your culture would count. But often things like religious groups, class groups, castes, all of these count it's very rare that you see equality between two such groups. Much more common is some sort of expectation that one of those groups will get more when you divide resources or do less work than the other side. And because that pattern is so ubiquitous, i thought, well, maybe we can use some cultural evolutionary modelling to think about why that pattern would show up again and again and again. Maybe there's some sort of deep mathematical truth underlying this process of bargaining between social groups.
