The Importance of Identity
This psychological orientation that comes from a system or a theory called internal family systems and I want to describe this to you right now it matters. So we have this eternal eye this essence of ourselves, our true self. Okay, but then because of the lives that we live and things happen and we have experiences and we have people that that sort of impose on us who we are to be and how we're to be acceptable. This identity is not our essential self. It's really what those outside forces have created on our behalf,. Our likes, our wants, our values, the things that we think matter and so all of these come in and they create our identity independent of our eye
