There are many hands that have decent pre flop equity. If your only options were shove or fold, you might be better off shove in than folding. Head aid suited is a good example of a hand that gets a lot of valuable information from seeing the flop. There aren't as many flops that are just like a nightmare for a sex pocket and they're against a wide range.
